I like it when people boast about themselves. Obviously sometimes it's merited, but if people go on about it it just feels forced and shit.

My dad was telling me this story once of a lads weekend he went on. One of the guys was relentlessly going on about how he knew the owner of this club and could get them in free and get free drinks and all that. Anyway they turn up at this place and queue up. This old guy is at the entrance and either thinking they were a bit worse for wear or dressed inappropriately says sorry lads you can't come in. Dad's mate then goes up to him and utters: 'Excuse me, do you know who I am?'

Old guy pauses for a minute, before retorting. 'No, now fuck off.'
