I'm being thick, and can't remember an English idiom.

It's for when something appears to be very nice and pleasant on the surface, but on the inside, it's actually horrible. Or a person who seems very friendly and lovely on the inside, they aren't actually when you get to know them

The only thing I can think of is 'kittens got claws' but that's obviously shit.
