people keen asking me, 'legz - what do you want for xmas?' and very often i just don't know what to say (what do you get for the man who has everything, right?) But there might be some things out there that i just don't know that i want yet, that you might be able to tell me about. that you might be able to tell each other about.
so here's the deal, below are some categories and what we're gonna do is right down a recommendation for that particular thing that you personally think is a fine example of the form or one that you've not got but really want. If possible try to write down more recent things, because the older it is the more likely people are to already have it.

1. Comic books - Building Stories by Chris Ware (not read this yet, but having read jimmy corrigan and the reviews of this i've got no reason to expect anything but brilliance)
2. Music - In our Heads by Hot Chip
3. Books / novels - Freedom by Jonathan Franzen (i admit this isn't very new, but i've been pretty slack in searching out new books)
4. Film DVD / bluray - Moneyball (i would have chosen killing them softly, but don't think it's out before xmas)
5. TV DVD / bluray -American Horror Story
