Or have you? What was it like?

I've been doing a fair bit of travelling these past few years and it's made me think about whether I could up sticks and leave London. However, I've got a fairly tight-knit friendship group which I have a feeling I'd miss very much. Is that weird? Are people generally more independent than that?
