everyone is always banging on about just how great radio 4 is so i havce been trying it out and guess what it seems rubbish right. yesterday i heard some dithering clown who was apparently their tech reporter trying to do stuff on a 3g and a 4g phone at the same time and it proved absolutely nothing. also some woman who was a food reporter and from saturday kitchen when they were going on about branston pickle being bought by japanese people she was saying oh you can have a bit of branston pickle with some raw fish or some vegetable sticks that's quite japanese and she was apparently born in japan so she should know. i thought it was supposed to be really interesting or something but it just sounds like dithering old people who can't think of anything to say most of the time. the other thing is the reception is terrible and you almost always have to keep retuning it all the time. am i listening at the wrong time of day or something? the news on there is alright though.
