May I just state the following criteria:

1. Can be from any era but black-and-white is probably a no-no.
2. No bullshit Hollywood political point-scoring
3. No tacky, faux-scary modern Hollywood horror
4. No period dramas set in the UK
5. Absolutely no remakes.
