my cat is old as fuck and she's going a bit mad. if all the lights are off in the house and i'm downstairs she goes up into my bedroom and makes crazy baby wailing noises, first few times i found it proper eerie and disquieting... once i realised what it was and ran upstairs to make sure she wasn't having a full blown wobble she was ridiculously excited to see me, tail wagging like mad and all but jumping into my arms. it's like seeing an empty, dark room she can't compute that i've not abandoned her forever. it's making me sad. what if when i'm out at night she does this for hours on end? might steal my step gran's alzheimer's medicine. good thread bro.
