I don't think I've seen a thread about these while I've been posting here. Do you enjoy? To me, it's like saying 'do you like films' or 'do you like books', but the world seems to be divided into fan-types and people who just aren't interested.

I'm forever trying to convince my wife to read the odd one that has a plot/theme that would appeal to her. My daughter, who is just cool beyond belief, shares my love of them. She loves manga too which leaves me a bit cold.

Anyways. Which are your favourites? I'd go

Watchmen (obvious, but just wow)
Preacher - Ennis walks a fine line between gloriously over-the-top and tediously gratuitous, but this is so fucking good.
Y:The Last Man - wonderfully thought-out apocalypse type affair

I'm not arsed about superheroes especially and don;t read a great deal of Marvel.
