If there was a period of time in the past when someone much older than the age of consent doing sexual things with someone younger than the age of consent was viewed with the same level of illegality and moral wrong-doing as something like illegal downloading (of films/music) is today, should they still be treated with the same level of contempt as a paedophile in 2012?
