Perhaps it's due to the summer sports blow-out but this is a massive achievement, considering her world ranking and the ranking of those she has beaten. i'd argue it's a much bigger achievement than Murray's olympics & US wins, and the fact it is at the other side of the world probably stacks the odds against someone so young.
