Some SERIOUS QUESTIONS about religion
Because it's Friday.
How come Christianity seems to be the only religion that's schismed and split so much? It doesn't feel like any other major religion has much more than the usual split between liberal practitioners down to the orthodox/fundamentalists.
What's the difference between the meaning of orthodox compared to fundamentalist? You don't hear about orthodox Muslims and you don't hear about fundamentalist Jews; you do hear both in terms of Christianity.
How come Islam was so much more popular than Christianity in the Middle-East and surrounds? It recognises Jesus as a prophet so it doesn't seem like it's wildly differing yet it clearly captured the imagination way more.
More as I think of them.
