Yesterday whilst at Oxford railway station there was a lovely looking girl on the platform with me and straight away she smiled at me, as people sometimes do if you catch eyes.

The train pulled up and an old lady was trying to get off so I picked her bags up and got them onto the platform for her. Again, the girl smiled a bit as I did this then let her through.

When we sat on the train I really really wanted to speak to her. She was sat on the row in front of me but on the opposite side, so basically diagonally to me. She turned around a lot and I caught her eyes on me a few times. Once or twice we smiled a bit.

She got off at Coventry where I was getting off and we both walked fairly slowly over the bridge, almost right next to each other as if we were making sure we were both close. A few more smiles exchanged and then my train came and I had to run for it. I got on the train and saw her sat on the bench on the platform and she caught me through the window and smiled, one which I returned. I should have spoken to her whilst I had the chance eh?
