neighbour etiquette, or lack thereof (sitting outside your windows-centric)
I recently moved to a ground floor rear-facing flat and it's really lovely and also great because I've got two cats and when the weather is nice I can throw open the windows and let them run in and out.
However, with this nice weather has come a purple haired, orange middle aged lady who recently took to sitting outside the windows. I have three windows in the flat and they all face the same way and she somehow manages to sit in such a way that she's visible from all three, and she's usually sitting with her chair angled in such a way that she's partially facing into the flat just a foot or two from the window.
Today she decided to go all out and stretch out sunbathing with her orange skin all on display just about half a meter or less outside my bedroom window.
Feel a bit trapped as I don't want to have the windows open/be near the windows because she's RIGHT THERE and don't like the idea of someone being able to see/hear what I'm doing all the time.
Have shut the curtains in the bedroom because she's so close by.
I understand that it's a shared garden so of course the neighbours should have free reign of it, but it's not exactly such a small garden that there's nowhere else for her to sit and she's sitting RIGHT outside my windows.
Is it just me or is that a little bit weird?
I have never wanted bad weather this much, because it will get her out the garden and away from my windows.
