I'm planning to move somewhere around this area at some point in the next few months. I've worked out that this is the best place to live for various work, travel, relationship and financial reasons. But I have never actually been to any of these places.

If I was to go here for half a day what should I do to make me fall in love with the place, get a good idea of the vibe etc.? Tell me cool things to do to make me excited about moving here in the future.

I'm not going flat hunting yet. I just want to discover the area and see some nice things so then when I do go flat hunting I know what's cool.

Any help would be much appreciated.
