I very, very rarely post in the football thread, so am probably not qualified to do this, but I think it would be interesting to see in May '13 how far off the mark some people are in predicting how their team will do.

Predict league position and all cup positions and include a small paragraph justifying your decision.

Team: Nottingham Forest
League Position: 12th (Championship)
FA Cup: Crash out in 4th Round.
Capital One Cup: Third Round.

I think that, despite everyone in Nottingham spunking themselves over the clubs new owners, we will have a fairly unimpressive and dull season, with the team having to work to gel. I can imagine us having a few good results and a few good games and being a team that you would want to avoid playing, but not seriously challenging for the play offs.

Can see us making it through a round in the FA Cup, and getting through to the 3rd round of the Capital One Cup.

That’s a pretty uninspiring and vanilla prediction… Probably go and get relegated now…
