My girlfriend has shanghaied me into moving to Cardiff from Sheffield before the year is out. I've never lived anywhere but the glorious North before, or so much as visited the place. So cheer me up a bit and tell me what's good about Cardiff. Decent gig venues, cinemas, pubs, restaurants, record stores, book shops, comedy clubs...anything that makes you happy to be a Cardiff..er? Cardiffian?

Also what areas are good to live in? Where should I avoid?
