I've just been scanning the news sites, looking at the new route of Rita, where and when it's gonna hit, etc.

All I can say is shit... I hope that anyone in the line of fire is either leaving or secured in whatever they've got...

I hear that Galveston may flood, totally. It's like the place gets battered, builds itself up, gets battered again, rebuilds, only to be floored for a third time in, what, 100 years? Just over... seriously, bad stuff.

Um, yeah... so I don't know if anyone from over there, or just in the States, reads this much, but if so, take care. I don't know what I'd be like if I were over there now... probably hiding in a basement sucking my thumb like a baby.
