So yes I'm an idiot, and somehow I've forgotten my PIN number so the cash-machine is a no-no for me at the moment. So off I skipped down to HSBC to request a new PIN, and that was easy, just gave them my account number, sort code, date of birth and my postcode and they'll send a new one in the post. Easy.

Whilst I was there I thought "I'll get some money out over the counter, so I can liek, eat and stuff". I'd planned for this, and so on me I had my debit card, my most recent statement, and my passport.

"You need your chequebook sorry."
