First post - Hoorah!

Ahem. So, in all 3 films there's some elderly folk trying to recylcle stuff and it's made quite obvious in the film that its meant to mean summit.... or is it? I've been rackin my brains for the significance since seeing all 3 back to back to back. Any ideas?
