I'm sure one of you is in possession of these and is willing to share your hard won knowledge

I appear to have misplaced the box for my 360 so can't find the network cable. I'm thinking of trying the live option for the first time to enhance my optimum gaming experience. I have a broadband (non wireless) connection, an XBox 360 (with the 60GB hard drive) and a hankerin' to neutralise zombies online. Do I need anything beyond a long ethernet cable, an xbox live subscription and a will to win, whatever the odds ?
