question for online gamers

Nestor [Edit] [Delete] 17:50, 11 November '09

today's pretty much the worst day ever. moved back home and call of duty's arrived to herald a new phase of my friends & brother never stopping playing it & boring me to death. ive tried to like it.

suppose this only really applies to console fps yawnfests rather than PC rpgs or whatever where i can understand it.

ANYWAY: dont you find it a bit soulless and boring playing games like CoD, yadda yadda every rubbish FPS game out there, even if its against people you know? do you not wish for the days when you could play goldeneye/mario kart/whatever, in the same room as people you're playing against? idk. just feels like playing a few levels over and over and over again against what might as well just be high AI bots.

games are pretty rubbish nowadays huh. mario galaxy's the only rly good game ive played on this generation i reckon and i'm yet to play anything that's very good multiplayer. i suppose a few games have their moments, but nothing half as good as any previous generation & every HYPERREALISTIC shooter i see couldn't turn me off more. am i alone in this? does everyone just wank over CoD, bioshock, killzone, fallout, etc?

i blame halo. that was balls too.

uuuhhh. disillusioned. idk.
