Help! I am away to Holland on 6 December and my passport ran out in August.

Am thinking of just going straight to passport office in Victoria to get it done.

So here are the questions:

1. Who can countersign the passport to say they know who you are? I have a guy who can do it who is MCIPS qualified. Would he be acceptable? I know no doctors, teachers, lawyers or dentists...the only other person I can think of is my boss.

2. When you go to the office obviously you need to take your form, photo, old passport - do I need my birth cert?

3. Has anyone been to Victoria office and had their passport issued the same day? How long did it take you and how much was it in total?

Have looked on Passport website - it's shit.

PS I am a UK national. Even if I was born in Aberdeen.
