the film thing tonight, usually we have a compere, a friend of mine who is all confident and bubbly and introduces things and makes announcements.

as anyone who has met me will attest, i am not a confident, bubbly introductionist. more of a nervous, awkward bag of bones. if anyone's seen my 'compering' skills before, they can back me up when i say it was pretty awful. i also have to do bingo calls, which i guess is slightly easier, reading off a sheet and all.

how do you handle public speaking?

don't say 'picture everyone naked', cos we do usually get quite a good looking crowd and it will only make things worse. also, i can't really get plastered before 7.
