i just had a phone interview asking me how much i expected to get paid. given that it wasn't much work, on a weekly basis, i was very confused. how much i've got paid before has been totally dependent on the publication.

does anyone know freelance rates for web writing? how you decide what your rate is, especially when you don't really have much experience?
