I think I used to - I even took some stock in writers opinions, but what with Spotify and everything, what possible good can any kind of official "review" of an album do?

I mean messageboards and opinions still help me find new stuff, but it's weird, I mean now that you can just check it out for yerself, why would you read an essay on it from one person's point of view.

Seems the only worthwhile ones nowadays are the hearty slatings. When they're done well there's always a lul(z) to be had.
