Ok so my girlfriend was in boots today and bought a load of things, and when she was picking stuff up she put a chapstick in her pocket of her coat or something, and forgot about it. The security guy followed her out and searched her for it, and now reckons she has to pay £80 for security costs, the cost of the chapstick and the cost of the cctv. is this right? given that she didnt actually mean to (Regardless of being stupid in putting it in her pocket in the first place) and the chapstick is worth £2.
