Hall and Carpenter, who play brother and sister in the Showtime series, wed on New Year's Eve in Big Sur, California, Hall's representative Craig Bankey confirmed.

The couple dated for a year and a half before being married. Carpenter's wedding ring, which was passed down by her grandfather, was linked to a bouquet at the ceremony.

Dexter revolves around Dexter Morgan (Hall), a blood spatter analyst for the Miami police force who murders criminals that evade justice. His adoptive sister Debra (Carpenter) also works for Miami law enforcement."
