and it's been reacted to with shock, disbelief and, at times, disgust.

It's not like i hate all animal life and want them all dead. i certainly wouldn't want to hurt one. i just from experience would rather they weren't in my company. i live with a family who have four cats and a dog and it's rare that i'm in the same room as one of them and it's not annoying the hell out of me or putting me on edge.

i realise this makes me sound like a homophobe trying to say he just doesn't like gays.
