I did, for two years - the music section and help to change the template and fonts and styles and improved its 'circulation' - and got loads of gig tickets, interviews and free CDs and promos which I'd sell if they were shit - who'd want to do that again! ANd did it set me up to be the Guardian War Journo of the Year - noooooo!

Best moment - getting harangued at a nightclub - twice by some Stone Roses fans who 'took umbrage' when I said that they were "Just a band - get used to it" in print - heh heh lol so pointless looking back

Do you still 'get' university newspapers now? This was between 1994 and 98 so it was when the internet was a baby - is it all online now?
