(and previous X Factor fixes)

I haven't been watching the show incidentally but I'm a bit perplexed by all these claims in the news (and apparently parliament) there's been some sort of outrage and fix and that people on the show have conspired to get this apparently brilliant singer off.

Surely this argument breaks down entirely when you consider motive. How could it possibly be in anyone on the show's interests to get someone popular and talented voted off in favour of someone less popular and talented? Surely that fucks their ability to make as big a pile of money at the end.

Surely, for that reason alone, if someone's been in the bottom two they have to have got the least votes? Any kind of conspiracy isn't in anyone's interests.
