we have been put in pairs at the bakery and its killing me

im with a perfectly lovely woman in her 50's or so, but i cant interact with her for eight fucking hours.

its ok during the day because its busy but 3-11 is fucking dead dead dead

which means we're pretty much just stretching out eight hours of pointless polite chit chat.

so how rude would it be just to plonk myself on the freezer and get back to my book?
