I've just completed a survey for my University, and at the end they asked me if I'd like to win £1,000. Of course!, say I. Then they asked me whether I would prefer £1,000 cash or a £1,000 donation to a welfare/human rights/wildlife charity.

I haven't chosen yet, but I'm veering towards a human rights charity. Mainly because offering me the choice makes me feel really bad. It's not like were I given the cash I'd give it to charity if I wasn't presented with a choice.

Does this make me a terrible person?!?!?!?1/!/1/1?!?! That I choose to (theoretically cos I ain't ackshuly won the money) give to charity only when I'm guilted into it?

What would you do/do you give to charity/OMG evil surveys, eh?
