OK, this time I'm not gonna make wild accusations because actually I am genuinely interested and would like real conversation about this.

In my many visits over the years I currently feel like London isn't worth all the hype mostly because I don't see why I should have to pay so much more to live there when there are other cities that offer just as much (Glasgow, Birmingham) for cheaper. On top of this, I find a lot of people's attitudes in London rude and arrogant (not everyone obviously) and I generally hate the atmosphere at gigs there, which would be a big thing if I moved there.

So, to Londoners here, honestly, what is the appeal? what should I do to see it. I guess my reason is because I have been interested in moving there for a while now after university, but right now I don't see why I should/if I'll enjoy it.
