When did it become so big over here? I'm shocked at you lot, quite frankly, subscribing to a Greeting Card Holiday Hallmark made famous... given your usual cynicism. Having said that I am dressing up tonight and going out to a ball but wearing a ballgown, sans gore or death like decorative association... it just doesn't appeal.

So when did Halloween get so big over here in the UK then? Genuine question....
