My work trip to Ireland (Going out in Cork, Galway & Limerick-centric

belsizeparka [Edit] [Delete] 11:14, 31 October '08

So I've pretty much been assigned the best possible work trip ever. We're pitching for some business with an Irish based brewer and so for the pitch we're going to put together video showing us in Ireland asking the target market whats wrong with the product, rather than being some cunts sat over in London assuming we know what London people drink, and therefore the Irish must be the same.

So yeah I've gotta go over to Ireland for 3 days interview males aged between 23 and 27 about why they don't like XXXX Brand of beer. I'm from Ireland, but I've never been to either of the above cities in the last 10 years, and don't really know anyone who lives there. Is there anyone here who's been to any of them, or is living in them, and would know the best venues? Clubs, pubs, indie bars, popular-on-a-saturday-types, football bars, places that are full of cunts, and I should avoid, any pubs that are amazingly quirky?

I know its a bit of a shot in the dark, but its difficult to find places online, that don't look like absolute shti-holes.
