I've realised that I like to read about people, mostly. I recently read Steve Martin's account of his stand up years thanks to a recommendation on here, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Brian Wilson's autobiography was before that, and that's well worth a read too

I was thinking maybe a book about Motown, and there's a couple on Amazon I've got my eye on. Anybody read anything on the label, or Berry Gordy, that they'd recommend?

I was also thinking I'd quite like to read about Charles Manson maybe. I'm open to suggestions though. So please, let me have 'em
