and now I feel totally boring.

I have met five undergrad girls today who've taken part in my research (that's my research in an official context; filling out questionnaires and doing computer tasks. Not my, y'know.. my 'research,' which just sounds dark) and not one of them has offered anything in the way of conversation beyond 'hello,' 'okay,' and 'goodbye.' In fairness they have looked terrified; perhaps I have an unpleasant look about me. does this happen to other people on off days, or is this it for me now?
