Tesco and Sainsburies 'basics' and 'value' pasta has nearly doubled in price, they followed suit (will check out asda tonite)
previously nearly 20p it is now 39p
To make sure people dont switch to the cheap spagetti they have done that same with that price.

Also Baked beans ('value and basics') have also had an overnight price hike of 50%
They happened simultaniously of course as they watch each other.

This is a serious blow to my stockpiling plans, the price increase has come earlier than i'd hoped
