A possibly really stupid question about TEH INTERNET

Anschul [Edit] [Delete] 00:19, 22 October '08

so, how does it work then?

how does Drowned in Sound get from its server in London(?) onto my screen in Stockholm? What data actually travels over the Swedish border?

I ask because Sweden has this FRA electronic surveillance law coming into effect on January 1st which will basically mean that all internet and mobile communication that crosses Sweden's borders is intercepted, scanned, logged, sifted and data mined.

I was wondering if or how much non-swede's information stands to be mined and/or monitored as a result of net contact with those in Swedeland

Can anyone clear this up for me?
Or provide jokes until a clearer upper comes along?

thanks
