the situation at arsenal is a complete farce. fabregas is out injured for 2 weeks now, simply because they rushed him back too early after the euros. the reason they rushed him his cos wenger is too stingy to buy a central midfielder, despite the fact we've lost gilberto, flamini and diarra, and now diaby is injured yet again. this leaves ramsey (a kid even by arsenal standards) and denilson (who up til recently was AWOL for a couple of months) as the midfield pairing for tonight's vital champions league qualifier. aside from all that, the club desperately needs a tall, physical centre-back who's good in the air (wenger admitted as much last season, yet did an astonishing u-turn for no apparent reason and decided we don't need one after all). is there any other big club in europe that's in this kind of mess?
