Landlord legal rent stuff

Steddy_Eddy [Edit] [Delete] 17:36, 11 August '08

My tennency contract ran out in June and at the same time i stopped paying rent, this went un noticed for a while.

The landlord came round with a new contract for me to sign on the 14th july(dated as such) which I signed and started paying rent again. He has since checked his bank account realised there is a month and a halfs rent missing and sent me a letter telling me to pay what i owe or he will terminate the contract.

Am I right in saying legally i owe him nothing but if i dont pay the chances are he will terminate the contract with 2months notice.

I was staying here but there was no binding legal document stating I had to pay for such pleasures. Someone put my mind at rest please.
