Is booze in food still considered "drinking"?

I've got half a bottle of decent red and intended to soak it in red wine before an hour or two of cooking, but can't drink as on x2 antibiotics.

Is this allowed?

Red wine makes the lamb taste SO yummy. Could use balsamic I suppose but it's not quite the same.
