I don't mean local rivalries, or teams that always win everything or even teams like Leeds who nobody seems to like.

What football teams that most sane sensible people have no opinion on do you absolutely hate and what's your justification for this?

Personally I have an irrational hatred of Middlesborough. They just strike me as complete fucking non-entities clogging up a space in the Premier League where a team could be who might actually add some interest to the competition. They rarely challenge for Europe, never quite get threatened with relegation and I was reading this morning that something like 8 of the past 9 years they've finished between 13th and 15th (this might be slightly off but certainly in a ridiculously small range of positions).

They just personnify mediocrity.
