Tonight the world feels like a really dark depressing place

lemonbrickcombo [Edit] [Delete] 22:27, 3 August '08

with very little hope.

Barack Obama will turn out to be a huge fraud with too many powerful stakeholders in his campaign for him to be able to change anything. That's of course providing that he actually does want to change anything radically. Very little separates him and McCain, besides a few adjectives here and there and that much touted healthcare policy. I don't want to say it, but he's essentially an Uncle Tom, isn't he?

If we don't act in the next 100 months, climate change will destroy us all, say scientists. I believe them.

The world is going into financial meltdown. And at the same time people are becoming more self interested and greedy, driving their designer 4x4s 5 minutes down the road and telling you to fuck off if you ask them to stop dropping sweet wrappers in the road. Thatcher's Children are taking over, and all they care about is their own necks.

I'm thoroughly depressed by it all. Someone show me a glimmer of hope.
