hi everyone - im looking for a bit of help regarding employment law... basically, im looking to join a rival company, however, a week into my notice period my current company have said that by the terms of my contract, i cant join them for up to a year on leaving. this obviously screws everything up for me, as i cant go back to them, but cant join my new employers. Big AAARRGGHHHSSSS. does anyone know if this type of clause is actually enforcable? much much much love if anyone can shed some light on this!!!
