My friend Donna purchased her PC so she could go on-line with her antique business. She had not had any computer experience before this and would call me with questions & concerns.

One night she called about one of her programs. I explained about the help text and using the F1 as I had before. Near tears, she insisted that her F1 didn't work. It never did, she said, and wasn't there something else I could have her do to get to the help area. Since it was 2:00am I told her to go to bed & I'd be over in the morning.

When I got there, I had her bring up her program she was having trouble with. She asked for help and I said to use F1. She did.

She typed 'F', then she typed '1'.
