So, these new homicides laws...

Pretty wrong? I think rapists and abusers are despicable and should be locked up much the same as anyone else, and whilst I welcome some of the new measures, the bit about 'provocation' makes me feel slightly uneasy.

Essentially, we are allowing women who have been abused to carry out their own vigilante justice. Yes, we should protect them and understand the circumstances surrounding certain cases (like the famous one of Emma Humphreys), but is really right for us to say that premeditated murder, even of a despicable abuser, is in some ways ok?
