Inappropriate comments in the workplace

dash_and_blast [Edit] [Delete] 16:42, 29 July '08

This feminist ranting probably belongs at the lipster but anyway...

This afternoon i had an interview with an agency about a sales job with a perma-tan prick named Adam. Adam was there to help me change my CV around a bit to fit the clients needs and give me some helpful pointers on improving my interview technique for my up coming interview.

"The client is a fairly young bloke, he likes people who are well presented and have a great personality, you're an attractive young girl so i'd suggest being a bit flirty with him, perhaps wear a shirt thats a bit more low cut, make sure he remembers you. Make sure you make an extra bit of effort to look good for him"

WHAT THE FUCK?

I sat there smiling and nodding, visualising ways in which i could cut his tangerine knob off. Is it common practice for recruitment companies to tell young girls to "slut it up a bit" to get a job? My sales experience and charisma are a hell of a lot bigger than my tits and, i hope, are more important too.
