True fact.

I called to get reconnected today. I desperately need to sort myself out with broadband and getting a phone line is the logical first step. They want £124.99 from me, I reluctantly agreed. I think it's a scandal really. There's no way it costs them even close to that amount to re-activate a line and the engineer will be here for about 5 seconds...how can they justify all that money? Bastards.

If some could shed some light on how they've worked out that cost I'd like to know. The cost should be based case by case and priced accordingly.

And the worst thing? They can't send an engineer round until mid August! What what what??? Is there only one fucking engineer in my town? Grr...

Anyway, enough of this rant.

I'll be back on broadband soon so yey. I've really missed wasting endless hours on iPlayer and talking to strangers on the internet.
