I just don't know where to start with the flaws of this player and it's insatiable appetite for its own brand; so far I have had to get itunes because the Touch blocks out WMP, join the itunes store for the ONLY way I can access album art (!) and have been hounded 4 times in 30 minutes to get the £5 software update (applications?...extra).

The box is the size of a packet of cigarettes, it contains crap earphones, flimsy plasticy bits, no pouch and no AC charger.

Why did I buy an ipod touch?

Now - I don't have a clue. Until recently Apple have always made inferior mp3 players sold through good marketing, and with the Touch's extra features like Wi-Fi I thought it was genuinely better quality. It may be so that it has wireless internet and a sleek interface, but it isn't worth selling my soul to a company so far up its own arse.
